Welcome to Selo. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Selo mobile application and related services (the "Service") operated by Selo ("we," "us," or "our"). Please read these Terms carefully before using the Service.
By creating an account, checking the agreement box during sign-up or sign-in, or using Selo, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our End User License Agreement (EULA). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least eighteen (18) years old to use Selo. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. We may suspend or terminate accounts that do not meet eligibility requirements.
2. The Service
Selo provides a mood and dessert-themed experience that may include:
- Draw: daily dessert card draws and personal reflection content
- Space: saving and reviewing mood memories linked to dessert cards
- Signals: publishing and browsing shared posts within the app
- Me: profile, personality summaries, membership status, and app settings
Selo is offered for personal, non-commercial entertainment and self-reflection. It does not provide medical, psychological, financial, legal, or professional advice. Draw results and mood content are symbolic and subjective, not predictions of future events.
3. Accounts
- You must provide a valid email address and a password that meets app requirements.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.
- You must provide accurate profile information and keep it reasonably up to date.
- You may sign out at any time. You may delete your account from Settings.
4. User Content
"User Content" includes text, images, profile details, posts, and other material you submit through Selo. You retain ownership of your User Content. By posting to Signals or otherwise submitting content, you grant Selo a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, and distribute that content solely within the Service for the purpose of operating and improving Selo.
You agree not to submit User Content that:
- Is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or hateful
- Contains nudity, sexual exploitation, or content inappropriate for the adult content standards we enforce
- Infringes intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights of others
- Contains malware, spam, or deceptive impersonation
- Encourages self-harm, violence, or illegal activity
- Includes private information about others without permission
5. User Conduct
When using Signals and other interactive features, you agree to:
- Treat other users with respect
- Use report and block tools in good faith
- Not attempt to circumvent moderation, security, or access controls
- Not scrape, reverse engineer, or automate access to the Service except as allowed by law
We may remove content, restrict features, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe harm other users or the Service.
6. Membership and In-App Features
Selo may offer optional membership tiers and in-app coin features that unlock or enhance certain actions within the app. Feature availability may change over time. Any purchases or subscriptions are subject to the applicable app store terms and our EULA. Refund requests for digital purchases must be directed through the platform where the purchase was made, unless otherwise required by law.
7. Intellectual Property
Selo, including its design, branding, artwork, software, dessert card content, and original materials, is owned by Selo or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited rights expressly granted to you, no rights are transferred to you by using the Service.
8. Third-Party Services
The Service is distributed through mobile app stores and may interact with device permissions and platform services. Your use of those platforms is governed by their separate terms and policies.
9. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SELO AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL BE LIMITED TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Selo from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your User Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
12. Termination
You may stop using Selo at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by nature should survive termination will remain in effect.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may modify these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted with a revised date. Material changes may require renewed acceptance within the app. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance unless applicable law requires otherwise.
14. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by applicable laws of the jurisdiction in which Selo operates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You agree to attempt to resolve disputes informally by contacting us first at wahyuni.catur@outlook.com before pursuing formal proceedings, where permitted by law.
